If you follow hockey, then you know Alex Labelle. The first time I met him I was little starstruck. The second time, a little hot and bothered–and also married. Now I’m not, but he’s my ex-husband’s boss.

And my new roommate.

Yep, still hot and bothered. Times a million.

After an awful, controlling marriage, I wanted a fresh start. To make my own choices. Not sure I’m going about it the right way, though. Living with a man I’m attracted to, inadvertently breaking his date’s nose and driving them to the hospital, allowing Alex to convince me that dark closet was a free pass and what we did while trapped inside would go nowhere.

Oh, it went somewhere. Multiple times.

Alex may have hung up the skates and traded them for a suit and tie, but he barely has his foot in the door as the new GM for the Fury when he might be pushed right back out. Because the roommate situation turned into an off-season fling that turned into… more than either of us ever expected.
